HLP Hamakua Community Foundation

I have been a lifetime resident of the Hamakua community.  I attended Honoka'a High School and entered the family market business which was started by my father and uncle.  T. Kaneshiro Store (TKS) was managed by Roland Kaneshiro and I for many years until the business was sold. A few years later, I decided to retire.

 

Because of my management at TKS, the business was a strong supporter of cultural, educational, and social events in the community for decades.  I have dedicated my life towards improving my community by freely sharing my time and resources to make Hamakua a better place to live.

 

I am also one of the founding original board members for HLP Hamakua Community Foundation and the current Treasuer.
